MERMAID MAN & BARNACLE BOY UNITE!

Hello. This week at my school is 'Spirit Week' in which every day has a theme, and it's basically a battle between the grades. Today, I must say has been the best of them all. Today was 'Superhero Day'. Crystal and I decided to coordinate our costumes to match. She was Mermaid Man, and I was Barnacle Boy.

Yesterday, Patriotic Day, during gym, I told her my plan on being Barnacle Boy for Superhero Day. She loved the idea, and asked if should could dress up as Mermaid Man to match.
All day, when we both got home, we prepared our outfits. I went as far as painting a pair of shorts black, haha.

Anyway, going to school today, a number of people have already recognized me, which I appreciated. It got even better when I met up with Crystal. The two of us posed for multiple pictures for multiple people.
We both didn't get dressed for gym, because sweet Neptune, it'd take forever to get changed in and out of our outfits.
I walked her to her Bio class, which was after gym, as we played the Mermaid Man and Barnacle theme song on loop using Chris's speaker. When she realized she had a sub that really loved Crystal, she was permitted to walk me to my English class. We both agreed that we'd stay in character all day. We were committed, man.
Anyway, yes, I got much attention because of my outfit. Mrs. Korey said I looked cute. At the end of my English class, Crystal showed up at my classroom door and we walked to our next classes together, well we split up halfway there because, unfortunately, our classes don't quite coordinate with each other quite well.
Soon, it was lunch time, and oh boy was that fun.
Crystal, Amy, Echo and I went out and ran around downtown. Crystal and I tried running in sync, and this one person saw us running, with the music blaring, so she started fist pumping, rooting us on. It was great.
For lunch, we chose to get donuts because

Oh my gosh. What I just noticed that we actually got accurate donut flavors, ahhaha. Anyway, We got inside Dunkin Donuts, and immediately, this one guy reacted, "Oh my god.... This is so great, hey, can I take a picture with you guys?" Obviously, we said 'yes'. The guy was nice. 'Mermaid Man' ordered for me. I got the pink donut, and Crystal got chocolate. We imitated the picture above the best we could.

Heck yeah. Well, we got sort of opposite flavors. I didn't get the sprinkles, and Crystal did, and Barnacle Boy had the pink, Mermaid -- yeah you get it.

While eating, we were talking about how we should buy a balloon to be the Dirty Bubble. We ran around Downtown a little longer, and Echo suggested that we check out this floral shop. We did, and long and behold, the people there had balloons! We had our Dirty Bubble! We bought two balloons and we tied them to ourselves, careful not to lose it on the way back to the school. The lunch period began running short, so yeah, we booked it to the school, capturing even more attention. Most people laughed, which I am pleased about.

We parted ways once again. In my bio class, I sat down, and wanted to draw the Dirty Bubble's face. I took my pen and started drawing but... yeah the pen popped my balloon, and I was sad.

At the end of this class period as well, Crystal showed up at my classroom door, with her Dirty Bubble drawn on and stuff. Here is a pic of her, the Dirty Bubble, and Rosa.

Isn't it wonderful? The next class I had was art history (love that class). I walked in there and quietly said "Hello" to Mr. Johnson. Johnson looked at me and slowly greeted me back. I then explained that I was Barnacle Boy. Soon, a classmate, Bobby, walked in and was like "Who are you? Oh wait-- BARNACLE BOY!" I seriously got really happy when people knew who I was dressed up as. It usually was more obvious when I was with Crystal.
