THE BLOG OF JESS

Hello. So, today Amy and I went on a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum! It was great fun. But it was also rainy. The school bus we were in was pretty shabby, so water was leaking in. 
At the Met, at first we were in the vicinity of my art history teacher, Mr. Johnson (thinking about it, that is a very generic name.) He told us 'lil tidbits, and pointed out a veristic sculpture we looked at in art history. And then eventually, we parted ways. 

Amy & I posed in front of various statues and paintings, imitating what they looked like. 

We also ended up eating at a hella expensive cafe at the museum, instead of going out to the food trucks outside. We spent $12 each on sweet potato soup. This was the first time either of us did the restaurant thing, and didn't understand how the paying process works. We had to call over the waiter to help us. He was very nice about it though. We gave him a 20+% tip of $5. 

Yeah, the art was really cool. I really dislike modern art. It is so vile and disgusting, like WHAT EVEN IS THAT MESS OF LINES. LIKE... WHAT IS THAT????? 3 WOMEN? ARE YOU SURE? LOOKS MORE LIKE SQUIGGLES TO ME!

Oh, I also saw some art pieces that are in Animal Crossing, which was really cool.

The mortal enemy, code named Groundler was present. He was annoying throughout most of the bus ride.

Noel is a cool guy who took selfies with me. 

Also, we waited for the bus in the rain. We saw a bus come, but it was different bus. Not the right bus. Not the bus I need. I also took some pictures waiting for the bus.

Okay, that was my choppy description of today.
