Monday

Hello. As mentioned previously, I was sick over the weekend, which is pretty in itself. Come Monday, and I return to school, things do not lighten up. I'm not too surprised by things working out like that, though. Allow me to describe to you briefly of the misfortune I endured.

The morning begins with slightly less allergies than the day before, so that was good. The day prior, I woke up having the worst allergies, I couldn't function.
Before going to the bus stop, I quickly grab an apple. Walking to the stop, I take a bite of the apple and -- it's mushy. It was disgusting. I couldn't finish it, it was so gross.
Because I barely had a breakfast, I go to the school's vending machine, and get a rice crispy treat. Yum.
While gym was happening, things were happening inside my body, and my stomach was in much pain. I endured it through the rest of the period, and then went onto my English class afterwards.
In English, it was a bit of an uncomfortably warm temperature. This did not help with my upset stomach. I put my head down, and was just about to ask to go to the nurse when I really could barely stand it anymore until I realized that only a few minutes were left in class. So, I decided I'll hold it off until the next period class, History, to go ask.
During the short walk down the stairs, and to my next class, I sat down, and strangely, felt better. I didn't feel so bad that I'd need to go to the nurse anymore. That was good.
In that class, my teacher handed back a few things, all As and Bs, which pleased me. And then she handed back the big research papers the class wrote about the time of slavery. Mine was on the Cotton Gin. I was so, so happy to see that I've gotten an A+, and a little blurb from my teacher saying that I was "more than capable" in going into American History Honors II next year, and to consider creative writing. Well, I'm not going to go into creative writing next year, but I did notice that this class was feeling a bit slow for me (plus I was surrounded by an exasperating amount of idiots), so I am going to be going into Honors next year.
At the end of class, my teacher called me to her desk, and told me that my essay was the best written in the class, and if I could print out another copy for her to use as an example for her future classes. !!!!!!! This was so amazing. I agreed, and oh boy, that was essentially one of the two highlights of my day. (See how I highlighted it? Yeah.)

On my way out of the school bus to go home, my wrist bearing the wrist watch Bailey had gifted to me on my birthday snagged on the seat, and freaking broke. So devastated. I really liked that watch.

Why do these things happen.

After school, I had to go get some allergy shots, so did that, and the next highlight of my day came when my mom drove to Burger King, and I got a tasty Whopper Jr. It was delicious. I haven't had a burger in a while.
Anthony posted a thing on Facebook talking about the stupidity of making June LGBT Pride Month. Well hey, I'm all for it, y'know. I defended it. Bailey too. A few others as well. Well, yeah, this pissed me off quite a bit.

Lastly, the night ended with me trying to do a project for Rosa's upcoming birthday, and somehow my trumpet's valve oil got onto my bed, leaked, and hardened (????) onto my bed sheets. Super gross, and smelled VERY bad. I had to change my color plaid sheets for grey scale sheets.

So yeah, Monday sucked. Although, my quote of the day from my quote calender (that I made myself) said "Those who slip are often just given a chance to appreciate the ground" ~AC:NL
So that made me smile.

Thank you for reading about my misfortunes.
