SUMMER RESOLUTIONS!

Hello! As I've said before, the summertime has arrived. Despite that, I'm still in school. BUT when I finish the school year, I am going to embark on some SUMMER RESOLUTIONS to fix myself up into a new and improved version of myself. Here are my goals:

1. Keep my room as clean and as organized as possible. I always have a problem with just dumping things onto my bedroom floor. Welp, my room is going to be redecorated with a new bed, new dresser (my current one is seriously falling apart), a desk with a new computer, and new paint for my walls! This is going to be the most drastic change my room has ever seen since my family first moved into this house. And with the new room, new rules. KEEP THINGS CLEAN, YO.

2. Read more!! I didn't read nearly as much as I should. I have a lot on my reading list, currently. This year, I've sorta been in a bit of a dry spell. Well, I wanna change that. I'm currently seen, by my family, as 'always on the computer'. How bout I get the reputation as 'always reading a book'? I'm not too sure, but, hey, I can try.

3. Use less computer time! Yes, the internet is basically a part of everyday life nowadays. I just want to be on it less. In the time I am spending scrolling through tumblr, or watching youtube videos, I could be doing something better. Like reading! Or hanging out outside with my friends!

4. Drink more water! Soda is hecka bad for your health. I can do this.

Umm.... yeah I think that's basically it. Yepperee. I don't think any of that is too radical, and very doable. Wish me luck, whoever's reading this!

SUMMER IS HERE!

Hello. Summer has arrived, friends!! Although, I must say, it feels like summer has been around since May.
How was my first day of the summer solstice? Pretty good. I had a real good night's sleep. I have this app on my iPod that monitors my movement as I sleep, and analyzes how well I slept based on that data, and in a week where I've been getting crappy sleep, last night, I slept very well! My rating was 95%. So, that's a good start.
For a lot of my day, I played Tomodachi Life because geez that game is hecka fun. I'm always telling my friends on what's happening in the game, and they all seem to think it's hilarious. I get kinda worried that they'll get annoyed at me bringing it up all the time, but for the moment, it doesn't seem like it is. In fact, now Bailey, Amy, and Rosa all wish that they had the game. Sad thing is that Amy and Rosa do not yet have a 3DS (although Rosa'll be getting one around the time of her birthday, which is coming up btw. JULY 2ND!)
When I got extremely hungry, I went downstairs to grab some food. My dad was down there, and told me that he set up a new nifty target for when I want to practice some archery. Before I did that, I ate and organized/cleaned my room.
I managed to hit the target thrice, and was hecka pleased with myself. I ended my little session, and took a shower, because the outdoors makes my body feel really gross when I'm back home.
For dinner, I ate some BBQ and chips with some Pepsi. Mmm mmm good ol' American meal. Hahahaha.
All I've been doing since is Tomodachi Life. I should try to be more productive and maybe read more of my summer read book, The Jungle. I'll do that later.
Anyway, that was my day!
Thank you for reading!

TOMODACHI LIFE!!!!

Hello. Just yesterday, I bought the so far fabulous game of Tomodachi Life!
It finished downloading onto my 3ds by around 12-1am, and I played until 2am, giving me about 4 hours to sleep before my school day started. HAH.
Here is a trailer video for the game:

ANYWAY, so far, I've made quite a bit of islanders. I've made the Nerd Herd, Taylor (an affiliate of Nerd Herd, who everyone ships with Bailey), The Avengers (minus Hawkeye & The Hulk. I'll get to them later), my parents, Link (of Legend of Zelda), and Shaquille O'Neal.
I've played this game during my homeroom class, and the guys I sit with, Ryan, Chris, and Arthur watched me and assisted me on playing, suggesting me to make a Shaq Mii, and all that fun stuff. It was so funny. Like, this game is ridiculous, but it's hilarity makes up for that.
So basically, I've been playing this game all day, practically nonstop. I felt bad though, just abruptly halting my animal crossing gameplay. So, I played, maybe, 5-10 minutes total of Animal Crossing.
In game, what's happened so far is that Shaq and Amy are dating. I originally created Link to be with Amy, but hey, Shaq, for some reason, formed a crush on Amy and then they became a thing. What I REALLY want is to get Bailor (Bailey+Taylor) to be canon. No luck so far, but hopefully, it'll happen eventually. I will not stand for Taylor or Bailey to be with anyone else.

Yep. Obsessed over this game.
Thanks for reading.

THE TITANIC SUNK MY HEART UUAHGHGHHGOID

HELLO. I JUST FINISHED WATCHING THE TITANIC. IT WAS SUCH A LOVELY MOVIE, I DO REALLY LIKE IT IN ALL OF IT'S ARTISTIC BEAUTY AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MOVIE DID TO ME? BY THE END OF IT, I WAS CURLED UP IN FETAL POSITION, CRYING AND CRYING AND CRYING.
MOVIES DO NOT OFTEN MAKE ME CRY. THE FAULT IN OUR STARS DID NOT MAKE ME CRY. BUT THIS BLASTED MOVIE. THIS MOVIE, WITH IT'S FORESHADOWING, AND ART REFERENCES. AWFUL.
IN THE BEGINNING, WHEN ROSE WAS LOOKING AT PAINTINGS, I NOTICED THEY WERE PICASSO. I WAS PROUD THAT I'VE RECOGNIZED IT'S STYLE. ART HISTORY HAS SERVED ME WELL. AND THEN THEY MENTIONED A MONET PAINTING. BEAUTIFUL, I LOVE HIS LILY PAD PAINTINGS, THEY ARE SO CALM AND FABULOUS. AND THEN LATER IN THE MOVIE, WHEN THEY ARE HIDING AWAY, IN THE CAR, JACK JOKINGLY ASKS "WHERE TO, MISS?" AND THEN ROSE REPLIES "TO THE STARS." AT THAT PART, MY ART HISTORY BRAIN PINGED AND WAS LIKE 'OH, VINCENT VAN GOGH SAID THAT THE ONLY WAY TO REACH THE STARS WAS THROUGH DEATH.' AND THEN I REALIZED WHAT I JUST THOUGHT. THE ONLY WAY TO THE STARS WAS THROUGH DEATH. AND YOU KNOW WHAT? JACK DIES. I LITERALLY GASPED IN HORROR AT THAT REALIZATION.
THE FIRST TIME I CRIED WAS WHEN THE STRING QUARTET OR WHATEVER THEY'RE CALLED WERE LIKE "OKAY, GUESS IT'S TIME TO STOP PLAYING" AND THREE WALK AWAY, BUT THE ONE STAYS AND JUST RESUMES PLAYING. AND THEN THE OTHER THREE STOP, AND JOIN HIM. AND THEN THEY PLAY A SAD SONG AS THE WINDOWS OF THE SHIP SHATTERED, FLOODING WATER INTO IT, KILLING SO MANY PEOPLE.
THE SECOND TIME I CRIED WAS WHEN THE BOATS CAME BACK TO FIND SURVIVORS, AND JACK WAS ALREADY DEAD. AND HE DIED HOLDING ONTO ROSE'S HAND. OH MY GOD.
THE THIRD TIME I CRIED WAS THE ENDING. ELDERLY ROSE WAS LAYING IN HER BED, AND I SUPPOSE DIED. SHE DIED WARM AND OLD IN HER BED, AFTER HAVING BABIES. JUST AS SHE PROMISED TO JACK. AND HER LITTLE 'HEAVEN' WAS BACK ON THE TITANIC. YOUNG. THE PLACE FILLED WITH THE PEOPLE WE SAW DIE JUST HALF AN HOUR EARLIER.  AND JACK IS WAITING FOR HER AT THE CLOCK, JUST AS HE DID THE NIGHT THEY FIRST HAD DINNER TOGETHER. AND THEY WERE REUNITED. DEAD, BUT REUNITED.
IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL, I BURST INTO TEARS.
I TOOK A POST-TITANIC SELFIE:

THANK YOU FOR READING.

The Library

Hello. Bailey, Amy, Rosa and I ventured off into the Downtown Library after school. Fun ensued.

The first thing our little herd did was grab a bite at Dunkin' Donuts, which is attached to the library. I got two donuts, white frosted and glazed, while Bailey got one. I don't remember what flavor. Sorry.
I grew thirsty, and used the vending machine in the little place for the first time. Lemme tell you, I was astounded by it. It freaking sucked up my money so quickly, it scared me. And then it spat out my change through the same place it took the money in. These vending machines were a lot different than the old ones at my school. Holy moly. The future is now, my friends.
After Bailey and I ate, the four of us went upstairs, and began playing The Game of Life. The day prior, on our facebook chat, I challenged all who were going with us to the library to a game of The Game of Life.

THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, DEAR BRUTUS

Hello. Today was the premiere of the long awaited movie 'The Fault In Our Stars'. And I just watched it. I met up with Bailey, Rosa, and Amy at the theaters, intending on watching the 7:15 showing. I asked if we could go earlier, like 6:30 to avoid having the show sold out. Guess what. It was sold out. So, Bailey and Amy went on to watch the 7:15 showing, while Rosa and I were left to see the 7:30 one.
The movie itself was fabulous. It was so good! Some parts were cut out, which was understandable. It made me laugh, it made me want to cry, all the romancy-schmancy stuff sort of made me wanna puke a little. So overall, it had the makings of a fantastic movie. Around the end, I could hear people crying. I, myself, didn't cry, because I'm basically already dead inside, hahaha jk. Rosa teared up a little bit.
At the end, Rosa and I stayed back to see if there would be an extra scene, but we both really needed to pee, so we left.
Back in the lobby, Bailey was sitting on the ground, her eyes red from sobbing so hard. She told us that she was crying so hard that she couldn't even support her own head, and was leaning on Amy. Poor Bailey.
With that, Rosa's mom was already waiting in the parking lot to bring Rosa, Amy, and Bailey to Bailey's house for a sleepover. I, unfortunately, couldn't attend the sleepover because my mom wouldn't let me. :P So, I stood/sat on the steps in front of the movie theater, and waited for my dad to pick me up.
By this time, it was basically 10pm already. It was dark. And my dad asked if I wanted to drive. I was kind of nervous, because... this would be my first time driving in the nighttime, and I wasn't exactly a pro at driving during the day. I was.... mediocre at best. Better than Augustus Waters, at least. I need to work on slowing down when turning.  I almost did okay until I was driving up my road. There are no lanes on the street I live on. Ahead, I see a car coming in my direction. To my right, there is a parked car. I try to rear more right, but I was cutting close to the parked car, and my dad told me to be careful not to hit said car, so with that, I swerved to the left, buT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME WAS, LIKE, RIGHT THERE, and I nearly crashed into that car. Their car gave out a loud, long hoonnnnnkkkkkkkk, while my dad reached over, grabbed the wheel, and steered for me. Oh God. He then yelled at me to be careful, and told me in that situation, SLOW THE HECK DOWN, OR JUST STOP, AND LET THEM PASS. That wasn't verbatim, but... yeah. That was the jist of that lesson. So note to self: 1) Slow down. 2) Slow down. 3) Slow down.

Thanks for reading.

Monday

Hello. As mentioned previously, I was sick over the weekend, which is pretty in itself. Come Monday, and I return to school, things do not lighten up. I'm not too surprised by things working out like that, though. Allow me to describe to you briefly of the misfortune I endured.
