Hello. NotFeast? What's a NotFeast? I will tell you.
For Thanksgiving, I went to a partayyyy, as I do annually. A family friend invites my family and many others to their abode for Thanksgiving dinner. Me, being me, though, did not eat much at this party. Possibly because before leaving, I ate popcorn, and various chips, and drank some hot cocoa... filling me up quite nicely. All I ate at the party was a little bit of ham. (I don't like turkey.) So I NotFeasted at the NotFeast. So:
NotFeasting: verb: the act of not eating a lot of food at a party in which many people participate in eating a lot of food.
After NotFeasting, Jona (oh yeah, Jona was there, heeyyyy) and I went down to the house's basement. There a number of people were participating in the act of Pinging the Pongs. Ping pong, if you will.* To keep ourselves entertained, Jona and I played this string game in which we are entangled and must find a way to separate without untying the knots. We used my combat boot laces. Although some may believe that such act is impossible, it is entirely doable. I have done it before. I could do it again.
Later, the group of teenagers that were there, Gian, Jess(me), Joe, Jona, and Justin gathered around in a circle and played "Name That Tune" which was much fun. I learned that Joe is a big Hobbit/LotR fan and we sang a verse of Misty Mountains together. My voice can't get as deep as his, though, so that kinda sucked on my part. Oh, here's what it sounds like.
That's basically all that happened that day. Happy Thanksgiving, friends.
And thanks for reading. It is very cool of you to do that for me.
-Jess
*I am wondering why ping pong is called ping pong. Dangit. I think it's because of the sound the ball makes? Oh fab, I'm going to have to do some research on the origins of Ping Pong.
Research done. It is in fact based off the sound the ball makes when hit back and forth. I learned this from this fabulous website.
