Hello! On July 28th, Monday, 2 week long vacation trip began.
I had to get out of bed by 4am, but I didn't know this, so the night prior, I stayed up until 3:30, reading a fabulous destiel fanfic, which involved Team Free Will in college, basically. I was just about to drift asleep, I hear my mom yelling "GET UP!"
So, I'm out of bed and in the car before sunrise.
If you ask me, I like the pre-sunrise sky. The mix of blues of that morning were really pretty.
We drove down to a bus stop or whatever, and were then driven to the airport.
We got there around 6AM. By this time, I haven't eaten... at all. (Besides the chips that I ate while reading that fanfic). For my official breakfast, I ate a bagel...
Skipping the waiting, Jona and her family arrives!! It was great; it's been a while since I've seen her and her family.
~6 hour plane trip later~
WE'RE IN CALIFORNIA!! This was the first time I've ever been in the west coast since 1998, and first time in California.
A lot of waiting in the beginning (and through out a lot of this trip). I first had to wait for a very long time for people to finish using the bathroom. And then a lot more waiting for the car our party will be using for the week.
The car we ended up getting was a sandy minivan, seating 7. Shame that there were 8 (9 including Jena, a one year old) people. The adults had all four teens cram into the back.
On the drive to... who knew where at that point, we spotted the very donut Robert Downy Jr. sat in in his Iron Man suit in Iron Man 2. Yep. The very same one.
Our first stop in California... McDonalds!! Oh, that doesn't really count as a first stop? OKay, our first stop, where we met up with Allyza... was a supermarket.
How... sad, really. None of the teens was happy about this.
Our next REAL stop was the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where I spotted Leonard Nimoy's star!! MR. SPOCK. I always have trouble saying his name. It shouldn't be so hard, but it is for me.
So that's 2 cool things so far. The Donut and Spock's Star. After that, we went to Beverly Hills...
Hair game on point for me. Thank you, wind. |
